Agnes has completed her MA in Music (Master’s Degree) at the University of Hong Kong. Agnes received her Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from King’s College London in July 2022. She previously attended Sevenoaks School as a full music scholar.

At HKU, Agnes graduated with Distinction. She is particularly interested in topic theory and music entrainment, in which she led a topical analysis of Mozart’s Requiem for her Masters capstone dissertation.

Currently, she is a music teacher and piano accompanist. Since year 9, she has been contributing to the local arts community when she was selected as her secondary school choir’s first piano accompanist. Ever since, Agnes has continued to develop her pedagogy as an advocate of the arts.

Growing up, Agnes was also an accomplished student pianist and flutist. She has given many performances with various chamber groups and orchestras. These include performances of Chaminade’s flute concertino with Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra, Schubert’s Trockne Blumen, and Doppler’s flute duet. She has attained a Distinction in Piano ATCL and Flute DipABRSM.

In particular, Agnes was part of the champion flute quartet of the Pro Corda Chamber Music Festival performing Bozza’s Jour d’été a la montagne. Agnes has also had chamber music performances at St George’s Chapel, Pushkin house and various concert venues in HK.

In her free time, Agnes practices Ashtanga yoga and enjoys long walks by the sea. Her other musical interests include metal and jazz.

Agnes is currently based in Hong Kong.
